In Mendeley Desktop, you will need to add the ‘Translators’ field to the Book type. Go to Tools (Windows) - Options – Document Details – Book – tick the ‘Translators’ box – click Apply and then OK.  If you have a Mac, the options will be under Mendeley Desktop - Preferences.

When there is no author, the title goes first, followed by the year. The translator is placed next in brackets with the initials first then the last name, followed by ‘Trans.’. The place of publication and publisher then follow. When using Mendeley, the reference in APA appears with the translator in the author field. Both examples are permitted.
