When referencing a report or document on the web in APA referencing style, select the 'Report' type. The document number (if available) is included as indicated by the ‘Report – by a corporate author’ example. In Mendeley, this can be included at the end of the title in square brackets. The Mendeley reference will look different from the manual reference. Both are permitted.

 

Manual reference using APA:

Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. (2011). Substance use among Aboriginal and Torres Strait

Islander people [cat. No. IHW 40]. Retrieved from http://www.aihw.gov.au/WorkArea

Mendeley reference using APA:
